The Day Job: Adventures of a Jobbing Gardener

Mark Wallington

In the '70s the writer was an aspiring comedy scriptwriter needing to earn some money. In spite of knowing nothing about gardening he sets himself up as a gardener and gets some customers. The book is the story of the people he meets, the gardens he looks after. A pleasant light read, undemanding.
