An End to Suffering

Pankaj Mistra

The author is a young man from India. The central subject is the Buddha himself and he tells the Buddha's story. The author stayed in northern India to write this book and this is an area where the Buddha taught. He weaves in the ideas of modern thinkers like Kant Hegel and Proust and draws parallels between their writing and the Buddha's teaching. The author doesn't say whether he became a Buddhist but he does say that Buddhist philosophy is relevant today. The world would be a better place if more people took it on board.
