Dead Fathers' Club

Matt Haig

Set in Newark, the book has a Hamlet-type opening but it's not a re-run. Dad wants vengeance, but it's not grim. An easy read and recommended.

Doreen thought it was the Hamlet story: boy loses father who appears as a ghost asking the son to revenge him. It is quite fun on the way, but you feel sorry for the boy. It's OK but it runs out of steam towards the end.
