of poor white farmers. It's not scintillating writing but it gave
me an insight into that world. I didn't understand the title.

An autobiographical story of a Rhodesian childhood for the
daughter of white settlers. It was a tough life and as a
schoolgirl she had to carry a shotgun. An extraordinary,
fascinating life. Recommended.
