Attention All Shipping, A Journey Around the Shipping Forecast

Andrew received this as a Christmas present. The author tours all the areas mentioned in the shipping forecast where there is landfall. Some of the places: Dogger, Rockall and Sole have no land. It was an entertaining read, written in a conversational style - not dissimilar to Bill Bryson.

Gill did not find this book as entertaining as Andrew. She could relate to the areas around Greenwich and found that section of the book reasonably interesting. However she gave up when the author slept through one of the areas without landfall as the boat passed through this during the night.

A travelogue-style trip around the various shipping forecast areas. A quick and entertaining read with plenty of good one-liners
