Ray Bradbury

This was written in 1953 in nine days. Caroline liked this more than she had expected; she found it more like ‘1984’ than a traditional sci-fi book. The main character is a “fireman” who burns books. 451F is the temperature at which books burn. The plot twists and turns and there are some superb passages. Recommended.

This is a page-turner and Caroline read it very quickly. She felt it was quite prescient.
