It helps to have read the Canterbury Tales before you read this, which Seán had done. A sort of thriller set in London at the time of the Canterbury Tales. Deals with historical conspiracies/sects. Took Seán a little while to get into it, but once into it, he wanted to know what was going to happen next. Quite readable and enjoyable.

You could use this book to navigate the London of the period. The story is however unengaging and the style rather dry.
