Membership is open to anybody living in the area, and allows people to trade using a local currency, the Buzzard, as soon as they join. Members receive a handbook, a directory listing all the other members with their skills and requirements, a regular newsletter dealing with social events and 'small ads' type trading, and a 'chequebook' for paying the bills.
